Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I saw that a couple of weeks ago and posted it on Facebook and was shocked that I didn't get even one reaction to it. I thought it was a very clever and funny video. Funny and very professionally done.
I think some people just don't watch it. I don't see how else to explain why you wouldn't get any reactions except for that.
Thanks for posting to me. ;)

I thought it was great! I sent it to my daughter and my husband. I can't be around my daughter until we get her test results, so I had to just send it on Facebook, and my husband was working, so I couldn't disturb him.

We're still way behind in our vaccination schedule. My in-laws still haven't gotten even a letter about a 1st shot and they are both in their 70s. My BIL did get a letter telling him when his first shot will be, but he hasn't gotten it yet. He's extremely high risk with his kidney transplant, athsma, and obesity, and I think maybe also diabetis. So he gets his before my parents-in-law, but that's how far behind we are. Extreme high risk people still haven't gotten even the first dose.

We have through the 5th off. Then the 6th and 7th are virtual days as staff get their 2nd doses of the vaccine. So if I have side effects I may not even teach on Wednesday.

Good luck with the second dose. I got mine on Wednesday, felt a little off on Thursday and my arm is sure sore today. It is sore from shoulder to wrist and really aches at the elbow. I had an appointment with my Dr today for something unrelated to my vaccine and he said he felt the same way.

My parents both had their second doses two weeks ago today, and they both said they felt "off", but couldn't really describe it. My mom had a headache for a couple days and felt tired all the time.

That seems to be what I hear from a lot of people. One of my co-workers had some severe flu like symptoms but she said it only lasted a day and that it still was better than getting the real COVID.

There's an elderly couple I know (88 years old, and 94 years old). They both had their 2nd doses of Pfizer, a few weeks ago. Neither one of them had any side effects at all, from either dose 1 or dose 2! Ha! Go figure. They said they felt fine! :joyfull: Guess it's just the young'uns having any issues. ;)

We're all getting Moderna around here.

Interesting -- all three are going strong in my state. (And they don't tell people which one they will receive until they get there, so you can't choose if, for any reason, you wanted to.)

Unrelated to the above, but here are some silly jokes (all family friendly):

What do you call a melon that cannot get married? A cantalope.

What does a thesaurus eat for breakfast? A synonym roll.

:p

Different parts of the state seems to have different vaccines. Closer to Madison they have more J&J and Pfizer. Down in our area they seemed to have more Pfizer early on, but now I've only heard of people getting Moderna.

Also, teaching 6 year olds to say synonym is the funniest thing ever. Lots of cinnamons.
