Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Quick hello! Just wanted to wish you all a safe and happy Labor Day weekend. I can't say that I'll miss the record-breaking heat we've had this summer - I'm ready for fall!
Nice to see you! Our weather finally cooled down and I love it! It's in the 60s. SO much better than the 90s!! I will be happy when it's just a bit cooler...I really love my sweatshirts, but it's still too warm to wear them, and I can't wait for hot cocoa, but it's not been cold enough for me to want hot drinks. I guess I'm ready for fall, too!

You just need to go west.
@MinnieM123 , I'll let my brother know you're on your way. He's in Southeastern Wyoming, so right where the temp is going to drop. It looks like it might just barely miss my hometown up in the Northeastern part of the state, so you're better off heading to my brother's. Or does your brother still live in that area?

Thank you for that! (An fyi: I don't have a brother who lives out there. One of my brothers lives in in North Carolina -- a little bit of a distance from Wyoming. ;) )

I’m down for that. It’s the only way some restaurants are going to make now that patio season is winding down.

That's a good point. I didn't even think about that.

That may be true for some customers, but a bunch of others might like being outdoors in colder weather. All you have to do is wear a jacket and I think it would be quite pleasant. (Obviously, I'm not saying have outdoor dining during a blizzard or rain storm, but at least through December anyway.)

Maybe shut down from Jan. - March, and reopen again April 1. The outdoor seating restaurants in my area, put "weather permitting" on their web sites, even in summer.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

You are a brave soul, my friend. I don’t know a single person who would dine on a patio in December up here in the GWN. People have come to accept that dinner in is happening a lot more than dinner out ... at least until there is a reliable vaccine.

And if I were a server, I would say no siree, Bob!

Yeah, Wisconsin Decembers (or Novembers) are not ideal for outdoor dining. Heck, last October we had heavy snows. Kids were trick or treating in the snow.

It's a high of 50 here tomorrow... with rain. Too soon. Keep it a solid 70 during the school year. Then during the summer it can warm up to 80.
I was happy with our 60s yesterday...I finally got my hot chocolate. I biked to the doctor to pick up the forms I need to do my driving test, and biking makes me way overheated, and then when I'm not biking, my temperature crashes and I get cold. So I broke out the hot chocolate to warm me up again. It was soooooo good.

@InnKpr , check this out! They're so lucky out in Colorado -- they went from yucky 90 degrees down to 24 degrees. in 24 hours, and with glorious SNOW!!! :inlove:

We go from 90s one day to a tease into the mid to lower 80s the next, with 90s returning the following day saying "Just kidding, I'm back with reinforcements."
