Today was the last day for my wife and I in West Virginia. We went to THREE State Parks and and finished the day off with an Italian Restaurant

Robert Moses State Park - I believe it’s in Babylon. It’s one of the Fire Island beaches. It was pretty rough today. I got clobbered a couple times by waves. No sharks though!!

Gonna leave WV in about a half hour. It's kinda far to Brick NJ. Factoring in a possible stop for dinner in Lancaster PA...we might not get home until after 10pm.

Traffic conditions were ideal. I am in a restaurant not too far from @trr1. Maybe he is 30 minutes from here. Mrs Steve and I are in Bird-in-Hand Lancaster County. We will likely be on the road at 6:15pm

I found a YouTube channel tonight called Ambient Worlds, it has a lot of music and ambiance from different places and movies, including Disney World and Disney movies. It's all peaceful background music from what I've heard so far. I might be using this a lot during work time in my classroom.

I meant to ask you this the other day. How available was the parking at the beach? (Inquiring just out of curiosity only, because there's been a myriad of restrictions at all the beaches here, to stop overcrowding. I do feel bad for those, especially with families, who drive to beaches and get turned away, because of closed-off parking lots, etc.)

There are a total of 4 parking fields at Robert Moses (aptly named 2, 3, 4 & 5). We got there around 12 and Fields 4 & 5, the more desirable of the locations due to the proximity to the town of Fire Island, were full. We parked in Field 2 and one side of the lot was full but they had cones blocking off every other parking space. Below is an aerial view of the full area - we parked in the bottom lot on the left side. Since all of Fire Island is part of the barrier beaches protecting Long Island, you have to take that bridge pictured to get there. I have some photos I took the last time we flew in, I'll see if I can find them on my phone.
