It’s got a hood ornament, I’m good. In all seriousness, I miss those - I always knew where the front of my car was.

I broke my leg and irrevocably wrecked my knee from 8 1/2 inches. A 2-ft fall would probably kill me.

My reconstruction of my island is underway! It looks like a mess because it's in the middle of construction, but I have a vision! The villagers will all be getting fenced-in yards, along with some items that fit their home architecture or their own personalities. For example, Snake has a Japanese style home, so I put some bamboo benches and trees and baskets in his yard. Cousteau is a sporty frog, so I put a basketball hoop in his yard. Tomorrow Hazel should be moved, and one of my bridges should be demolished. That will allow me to move another villager and then install a new, nicer bridge.

My island of Borneo is coming along! (Yes, I named my island Borneo after season 1 of Survivor.)

My boss brought me breakfast. When he brought it into my office he made the mistake of asking, "how are you?" He then backed out slowly and said he's staying away from me for the rest of the day.

In other news I'm taking off tomorrow to go to the beach. Fingers crossed there aren't any shark sightings!
