I am imagining a retired life where I live in Florida during the winter and Elmira NY during the summer. That might be a pretty good retirement.79 here, and quite lovely.

Or Watkins Glen...or Lake George....you get the ideaI am imagining a retired life where I live in Florida during the winter and Elmira NY during the summer. That might be a pretty good retirement.
I made zucchini bread. One loaf and 12 square muffins. We annihilated the muffins. Apparently my kids really like zucchini bread. Thankfully they were drawn in by the cinnamon smell and ignored the specks of green in it.

Typically my daughter and I just eat it - but I love making it Into a salsa over fish. I have to put it far back on the counter because my dog Geno LOVES mango and he will sneak up there and steal it and run around the house with it.That looks delish!
What will you do with the mango -- eat it plain, or put it in salad?
A photographer for the NY Post passed away of Covid-19. Young guy - totally healthy otherwise. So sad. The Mets honored him by placing a cardboard cutout of him with his camera where he would normally sit for games. Such an awesome tribute. So I'm really enjoying seeing the cardboard cutouts of fans in the stands during baseball games on TV. Very amusing to say the least.
One suggestion though. Have some sort of rotating device installed for each "fan", and have them submit a normal, happy face photo AND an angry, intimidating face photo for each cutout. That way, when the opposing team's pitcher is on the mound, stadium staff can push a button which automatically switches the happy crowd into an angry mob.
Sad, but great way to honor him.A photographer for the NY Post passed away of Covid-19. Young guy - totally healthy otherwise. So sad. The Mets honored him by placing a cardboard cutout of him with his camera where he would normally sit for games. Such an awesome tribute.

You do realize I'm gonna have to go back and look up Blue Jay's highlights trying to spot her.Everyone is hoping our own “Home Plate Lady” makes an appearance as a cutout.
Blue Jays: We will miss you, Home Plate Lady
Fans of the Toronto Blue Jays have come to recognize a familiar face behind home plate at the Rogers Centre. She's known as "Home Plate Lady."www.google.ca
You have an awesome bestie!!! I am hoping my bestie sends me a care package soon. She had one ready to go when the post offices all closed down because of covid. At least, I think that's what she said happened. Anyway, she hasn't sent it yet and I've been trying to order Stovetop Stuffing for months and it's been out of stock. I can get mac n' cheese still, but the stuffing and brown sugar cinnamon poptarts have been unavailable at every import seller I know of.Who got a care package from the US today?

32 tubes of toothpaste, among other necessities.
The more one wears a mask, the more one needs to brush their teeth. Speaking from experience.
Thank you, Bestie. ❤❤
Even if the rumours of the border remaining closed for months to come prove true, I should be okay.

In her defense, she only asked for 20. With the exchange rate I rounded up to 32. That’s how it works, right?None of my business, of course . . . but is toothpaste in short supply north of the border these days? (Are you selling your 32 tubes of it out of your trunk, for a carpet bagger's marked up price? )
