Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

My friend Don and I wanted to go on the Amazing Race. We would NO DOUBT be first out but man it would be a fun few days!!

Depending on the challenges I think I could last for a little awhile. There was one task where they had to climb up something on the Great Wall of China’s and I would have been out on that since I have very poor upper arm strength and I would have a tough time with some food things. I am very good with navigation and map reading so that would be my strength. It would be fun to try though.

It would definitely be fun!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

I saw a couple lose a challenge to the two basketball players because the girl wouldn’t go down a steep water slide.

Mike said he would have picked me and tossed me down. I said he wouldn’t have needed to because I would have been halfway back up the stairs already for another go.

I think this is the clip.

I remember that one. I’m terrified of heights and my stomach dropping but even I would have done it. And I would have thrown her down as well.

Show Host: "And it looks like the winner is going to be the Canadian married couple, Mike and Jenni... wait a second, it appears she's heading back up to the top again. Yes, I do believe I'm seeing this correctly, she is going back up for another ride..and here she slides back down again. Now it's Mike's turn. It seems he can't go, as his feet touch the water below AS he's sitting on the platform. That's gotta be a disqualification...aaaand Jennifer is racing back to the top again for another ride down. I officially quit."

FAKE NEWS: With @JenniferS knee and hip problems there is NO "racing" back to the top. Struggling step by step, maybe! Or more then likely Mike carrying her up there.

I just saw an Applebee’s commercial with the Welcome Back Kotter theme song in the background. I dislike the food choices at Applebee’s and really don’t go there ever but I watched the entire commercial fondly. Great song.
I agree with @NYwdwfan . I can only find 3 or 4 things on Applebees' menu myself. Cheeseburger, steak, one chicken dish...that's all I can think of. They do need a better variety for sure.

I’m watching the Mets/Yankees game on SNY, the Mets network. The game is being played in Yankee Stadium but the Mets announcers are in Citi Field watching on monitors and calling the game. They will be calling all away games from their broadcast booths in Citi Field and not traveling with the team. The conversation is hilarious. Keith admitted to numerous times seeing a hit on the monitor and looking to the field out of habit, but the game isn’t there. They are wondering if the stadium crew will be turning the field lights on when it gets dark or if they will just be sitting in front of an empty, and dark, stadium. Gary said growing up he wanted to be an announcer but he never sat in front of the TV with the sound off pretending to call a game. Yet now, here he is, doing it. It’s a really strange world we are living in.

It's totally weird....yet you did a great job describing the situation! ;)

These guys guys are being so candid about the situation. The stadium isn’t allowing any communal items so there is no sharing of food-stuff items that more than one person could touch. To that end, Keith just took out a thermos and poured Ron a cup of coffee. Gary is in a booth himself, 20 feet away. So no coffee for him.
