Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Got a new pair of shoes. I hope I’m happy with the way they look on me.

If I were you, I'd buy up multiple pairs of these, and just stash the boxes in the back of your closet. That way, you'll never have to worry about finding replacements when needed. (My concern is that if the company ever went out of business, you might have a mental breakdown, if you couldn't find your favorite red Chucks anymore!) ;)

It’s an allergy day. Can’t complain too much - I think this is only my fifth Reactine of the season. Mind you, I think yesterday was only the fifth time I’ve been outside, so make of that what you will.

Ski was up quite late last night, so when I got up at 6:55 to use the washroom, I gave him a shout down the stairs to make sure he was up.

Me: Ski ... SKI ... SKIIIIIIIII!!!!!
Ski: Uh oh.
Me: Are you up?
Ski: Sort of.
Me: Okay, I turned the Keurig on.

About 15 minutes later, I offered to make him a coffee; which he gratefully accepted. I pulled his work boots out of the closet, put them in the middle of the hallway with the coffee and went back to bed.

Two minutes later, he left for work, with his coffee, on time. And sorry dear SIL, if that makes me a shi**y mother, denying my son the opportunity to be self-sufficient, then I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I would just call that being a decent person. 🤷🏼‍♀️

You could be on to something. It may be time to start a Chuck stash.

It’s hot here today. It was already hot and oppressively humid at 5am when the dogs wanted to go out and the sun wasn’t even up yet. As we say on Long Island, “it’s gonna be a skor-chah!”

Hubs walks the dog mid-morning every day. He decided to keep the dog inside yesterday and today due to the high heat/humidity. But he went out on his usual walking route, and a bunch of locals were all concerned, asking him if the dog was o.k. ;) He said yes, and said it was just that it was so hot out.

Funny thing is he doesn't know any of these people, but random people were yelling out to him from their porches, etc., all concerned and asking about our dog! :hilarious:
