Natural gas is used for heating and hot water here. We got a letter today letting us know that the gas company will not shut off anyone's service, if they can't pay during the COVID-19 crisis. (We can pay, but I'm sure there are many other struggling to cover bills.)

Mike and I are going to probably qualify for a new special EI program, where as self-employed employees we have never before qualified.

We can’t work as our offices our closed, so for sure we’re going to apply when the new program is released in early April. Every little bit helps.

Almost one million Canadians applied for benefits last week alone. Ski among them.

Yeah I requested mine on Monday. I thought about not voting but I just can’t do that. I have a strong belief that citizens should vote and I alway feel proud that I have voted.
