Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I made a cake. Added the milk, three eggs, and 1/2 cup of oil. As I’m pouring the oil, I think it smells “off”. Check the date on the oil, and yup, expired.

Figured I might as well mix it and bake it anyway. Not going to waste the icing until someone tastes it. Spenser has a tiny slice; proclaims it’s fine.

I ice it, add sprinkles, and let Ski take a huge piece. He says it’s good.

But me, I can still “smell” it. I take the tiniest nibble, and chuck it. Poor Mike was looking forward to cake. 🙁

Not THIS cake, trust me.

He’s at the grocery store right now (getting fresh canola oil, among other things) and sends me this photo:

That's ridiculous. Do you have grocery delivery there? I was wondering what people do if they have to be quarantined in their homes...you still have to eat, you still need things like toilet paper, etc...how do you get them if you can't go to the store, and my nephew brought up that you can usually order groceries to be delivered now and you could just have them set it outside your door so you don't have any contact. I know last year, my area did not offer home delivery, but my husband says he's pretty sure they do now.

But I do have to wonder about people stockpiling this stuff. I read in some countries they are begging people not to do that because it makes it harder for people who actually NEED those items, like healthcare professionals to get them. Apparently those pleas are falling on deaf ears.

It was so nice out today. It was cold in the morning, but in the afternoon it warmed up to about 50. The sun was shining. There was hardly any wind. I actually felt the sun, and it was warm!
We had that yesterday. Warmest day since last October. It was wonderful.

I opened the kitchen window wide for a few hours. The cats were in their glory too.

Today was warm, but rainy. Then the sun came out and temps dropped.

Our warmest day of the year was Sunday. My car said it was 63 degrees. But it was very windy, so that made it feel a little chilly. Tomorrow is supposed to be another nice day. High of 52, sunny in the afternoon. Then it's going back to rain and low 40s/upper 30s for a couple days. Next week looks pretty consistent with highs in the mid 40s and rain. Although last week was supposed to be all rain, too, and we got just a little overnight here and there.
