I must say, the first streak was much more impressive than the second attempt.

Not great. I asked if I could stay another day, and the nurse said that decision had already been made.
My teeth are brushed, I’ve got a drawer full of crackers, and everybody here is absolutely wonderful. I just have to get through the next week or so.

I’ve got Canada Dry ginger ale and Arrowroot cookies waiting for me at home. I probably won’t get my appetite back until I’m done with the meds.Sorry.
No worries, I can afford to drop a few pounds; plus the titanium hip implant weighs a couple of pounds more than the bone they removed, so I can forever look at the scale and say - nope I weigh less than that!

Why in the pluperfect hell would anyone ruin tea by putting milk in it. I can understand coffee to try and tone down the nasty that is the taste of coffee, but tea?
On an unrelated subject... how are you feeling today? Was the first walk an adventure?
