Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Went to DHS this morning. We stood by SDD at rope drop. The line was about 50 minutes. Then we did TSM with a FP, followed by a Num Num cookie. We then saw Muppets. Then we did our FP at RnR. We shopped a little while, then went to ToT for our last FP. In line I snagged another Soarin FP for tonight.

A little whole later we will eat at the resort, then go to Epcot.

This was delicious, but way to much for one person.

I saw these pictures that I absolutely loved. I want all except the 20,000 Leagues one. The problem is they are $40 each.

I also saw the gondolas! And they do not make the poles any less ugly. You can barely see the designs from the ground.

No, it's not. ;):hungry: I'd try it!!

Interesting -- yours is the first (that I've read from various threads) that mentions you can barely see the designs from the ground. Makes me wonder if others have cameras with close-up lenses, as the designs looked clear from what they posted -- or, maybe they were closer to one of the stations, that might have been lower in height, where the gondolas enter or exit, maybe?

Maybe. I didn't zoom. The picture was from a gas station. I just had a hard time making out the designs. It's to be noted that I'm about 2 years behind on updating my prescription.

I am hard at work studying, making copious notes and highlighting my brains out.

My pen keeps coming apart, annoying the heck out of me. There are a minimum of 40 other pens in my drawer, or ... there is Gorilla Glue in my purse.

We all know which way this is going, don’t we?

We got to Epcot and did SSE right away. Walk on. Even though people complain about the narration, I think Judi Dench's voice is perfect for that ride. It is so great, too. I miss Disney building rides with AAs like that. With people, and not based off a movie they are trying to promote.

Then we went to LwtL. Love that ride. It's my second favorite at Epcot behind SSE. At that time it was time for Soarin. I really miss the old version. The new version is kind of lame. You never swoop down hardly at all... you're always going up. It's not that thrilling. And the transitions are so cheesy, and the CGI is obvious at points. It's a good ride, but not a top tier ride anymore IMO.

After Soarin we rode GFT. There was actually a line, so we had to wait 5 minutes. After that we got in line for Illuminations.

Overall, my love for Epcot has come back. Last trip I was very disappointed in the changes to Soarin and Maelstrom. But because of that I feel my love for SSE and LwtL has grown stronger. I just hope they don't ruin SSE in the refurb. The Judi Dench version is the one I grew up on, so there's a lot of nostalgia there for me. The biggest thing I hope they change is that stupid screen on the decent. Add some real AAs and scenes.
