Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I’m making ice cream in my ice cream maker. I’m not sure it’s going to work. The insert needs to be frozen overnight but instead I had it in the deep freeze all afternoon. It sounded solid so I figured what-the-heck lets give it a go. So I decided to make pineapple vanilla ice cream. I’m thinking the enzymes from the pineapple might also affect the freeze. So it’s churning and I am staring thru the window on top waiting for it to thicken. I will keep you all posted.

Pics when it’s ready?

My dad used to take me out for orange pineapple ice cream. He would get maple walnut or black cherry. Happy times.

I’ve been crazy nostalgic recently. I think it’s because Terry’s wedding is next weekend. It’s the first time one of us has gotten married without Dad, Mom ... and now Mark.

Went to SSE, then Club Cool, then Nemo, then Soarin. Doesn't sound like a lot, but we also stopped to see some dolphins and manatees. We got back to the resort and went to fill up our mugs.

So far it's been a relaxing trip. I've gotten to the point where I've done everything so many times, and I can just take it easy.

Pics from tonight will be coming.

So backing up to the character warehouse... I don't have pictures. Some things are wrapped up to keep them from breaking, but I got a Mickey clock that I was eyeing two years ago on my last trip. Originally $40, I got it for $15. I got a 4th of July themed candle holder thing that I might not use for candles. I forgot how much it was originally, but my guess is around $30 or so. I got it for $5. And then I got an Epcot 35th anniversary ornament. Originally around $25, but I got it for $4. That's a score!

In the parks I have my eyes set on some plates, andaybe some other kitchen stuff. I want to get a couple of ToT bells for my classroom, too. I also might get one of those Donald Duck lips that makes a duck sound when you blow into it. That would be for my classroom, too. But we are still in the first half of the trip, so I could find a lot more!

Off to sleep. Rope drop comes early, but luckily I've done all the attractions I must do there multiple, multiple times already this trip, so I don't need to stress about getting them in. The only one I need to do yet is Muppets. And if TGMR was there, I would do that. It's so sad to see the Chinese Theater and know it's not there.

I kill everything. Even plants that are supposed to be indestructible.

But orchids ... orchids I can grow.

Those are positively gorgeous. What amazes me is that orchids take a bit of work and you need to know what you're doing with them. Other plants are much easier, but it's amusing that you're good at the difficult ones and not so much with the easier ones?! ;)
