Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I just lose interest, really. I like golf, but about 3 or 4 holes is enough for me.

Also, my clubs are too short for my height (I would need to get special tall people clubs, but am not going to pay the extra money), and standing in an awkward pose to get close enough to the ground gets tiring.
Well, gee... it is a total mystery why you lose interest and don't do well. Clubs that are too small will tend to take the joy out of the game. It's a hard game regardless of how the pro's make it look. I have been playing golf for almost 40 years and I improved for awhile but as I've gotten older I am back to awful again. Doesn't matter, I enjoy being out in the sunshine, having a good time with friends and not really caring what my final score is. It really doesn't matter. It's just fun. Perhaps renting a set of better fitting clubs might be worth trying. If you do better and it sparks your interest then you can consider whether or not to invest in new or used clubs. I go to the thrift shops and buy clubs for $4.00 each. I've seen basically new sets of clubs, bag and all that have gone for $24.00 I know you are young, but, you seem pretty perceptive, so I'll say this. If you can find another sport that you can still be doing in your 70's and still have it be fun, let me know. It is a lifetime thing, no other sport can do that. Just played 18 holes this morning with my son in law and my grandson. I ache a little bit, but totally worth it.

It might be something I look into some day, but I don't golf enough right now to look that far into it. Although my friends all think I would be pretty decent if I had the right size clubs. They say it's the perfect sport for me - you don't have to move much or be very athletic. I'm going to assume that means they think I have the strong mind for it and not that I'm bad at all other sports.

I just asked Mike if he has a taller set. He says he has a set of regular height lefties, but he had the loft changed on his drivers, utility iron, and one of his wedges. (Whatever any of that means.)

He doesn’t golf that often, but when we retire and become Snowbirds for 6 months of the year, he says he’ll get a set of custom clubs made.

Yes, but, with all due respect, he is freakishly tall. His clubs would be taller then I am. In order to have the proper clubs, Mike's would have to be custom made.
