Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

It’s hard to believe that in one year we’ll be living in the 20s. I should probably start learning how to do the Charleston.

Nemo, sorry to hear about your cold. Get some rest tonight.

Too bad you aren't up here. One of the local stations is having a 3 Stooges marathon; I'll be watching that between other N.Y.'s Eve shows. (We stay inside on N.Y. Eve and avoid the crowds and drunks on the road.)

We probably get that station here too, but all I saw last night was the back of my eyelids.

In happy news, my cousin and his wife had their first baby boy today. 8 lbs, 9 oz.

Name - TBD. I don’t think that’s in the vein of ABCDE though.

Just in time to be a 2018 tax deduction?

:hilarious:

Can't top that! Anyway, here's my Happy New Year's message to all Sagateers --

I got up during the night and moved out to the recliner so I could breathe. Thelma and Louise followed and immediately took over the footrest part. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

The kid was due on Christmas Day. I’m sure Mommy was quite happy not to wait any longer.
My oldest was due on January 6th. Back in those days, if the kid was born before the first of the year there were a lot of tax benefits, and if born at least on the 1st they came into the world with a lot of gifts from merchants, etc. We tried all the old cliches like riding on bumpy roads, walking a lot, other things that I cannot speak about here, as well. Nope, not only did she not go along with our desires, she held out an additional 10 days and wasn't born until the 16th. Since that day she has done pretty much everything marching to the beat of her own drummer. She's done well, but, hardly ever asked us what she should do about anything. Mule headed! I suspect she took after her mothers side of the family.
By the time she showed up, man, was her Mother getting grumpy!

My DS was 10 days past his due date and I sure was getting grumpy. And I didn't want him to be born any later because in 2 days it was Sinterklaas, which is the big gift giving holiday here...the Dutch version of Santa. And my birthday was only 6 days away and I wanted him to have his OWN day, not have to share with me or with a major holiday. Not to mention I was just SO TIRED of being pregnant!
