Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

A year ago today:

We started our day at DHS. To start off, we went to do standby at RnR, followed by standby at ToT. We then met up with the rest of our non-thrill-junkie group members who were on TSM and went to ST, where some of those same members opted to shop instead. After ST we did some shopping around the park for a little while. During our shopping the First Order marched by, so we stopped to watch. When we were done shopping we went back to Riverside. That afternoon I had a phone interview, so I took care of that and then we traveled to MK.

We started by browsing some shops on the right side of Main Street since we never usually go in them. We tend to just get stuck at the Emporium. The other family that was with us was just getting on IASW, so we went back and waited for them. It started to rain a bit, so we stood in the exit for the ride. We then met up and went to CHH for dinner. That was followed by a ride on the Peoplemover, one of my must-dos at MK. If I had kept track of how many times I've ridden each ride, I would not be surprised if this one won out. I think we then had FPs for Space Mountain and Buzz that we took care of. We then again traveled across the park to Adventureland to ride PotC. Then we made our way to Frontierland, but my camera roll is not specific as to what we did there. After that we went to get a spot for the new fireworks, which I remember being average. I remember there being little story, which is what drew me to Wishes. After that we weren't smart (despite my best efforts to persuade the group) and waited for crowds to die down before leaving. Well, some members of my group got impatient (the same one who wanted to wait), so we decided to wait for a monorail. Well, they got impatient waiting for a monorail, so they forced us to back out of that line and switch to the ferry. So the impatience cost us probably an hours worth of time, and because of that we were also standing in the rain for the full time we waited. Had we gone right away after the fireworks, we would have cut our wait in half. We got back to the hotel and slept.

A colleague of mine is there today and had t been to WDW in at least 15 years. She thought it was going to be cool to be there on opening day of Toy Story Land. I think she was under the assumption that she would juat stroll into the land and get on all the rides with no wait because it would be opening day and no one would show up. I laughed at her.

I'm guessing she'll feel pretty dumb when all is said and done. Can you imagine waiting for those lines in the Florida heat??

@JenniferS , I know it's fun to go out for a quick, cheap, meal sometimes, but perhaps you might want to consider having the restaurant deliver to you, instead. ;)
