The highest point in MD is Backbone Mt., (3360 feet) on the border with WV. Pretty soon it might be the highest point in WV too, since they like to blow the tops off all their mountains.

We were given a long list of things we had to find and take a picture of. We also had a list of things he had to find answers to. Like find what restaurant has a certain menu item and give the price. It was actually two scavenger hunts. The fist was at Pointe Orlando and the second was at CityWalk. In between we got dinner at Chic-fil-A. :hungry:

It’s been nice getting to do more activities lately. My group of friends from church does something at least once a week. We did more than usual this weekend. We had the scavenger hunt yesterday. A lunch and fellowship today after morning service. We got to play Apples to Apples. That’s always fun. And then we had bowling after evening service. I had full weekend.

Next Sunday night we’re having a dessert social followed by a game of Jeopardy.

Still a work in progress. It’s going to take a lot more practice. Unfortunately, my schedule hasn’t allowed me to play as often as I would like.
Wow, that does sound like a full weekend! But lots of fun!! What is Apples to Apples? I have never heard of that.

You know what's funny?
I've heard of Cards against humanity, but I don't really know what it is, either. I'll have to look it up! Thanks!

Basically someone reads a phrase or sentence and everyone else has to complete this phrase with one of the cards they have in their hands. Then the original person reads all of the complete phrases out loud and picks the one he or she likes the best.

Then you rotate until you run out of the phrases.

Whoever won the most competed phrases wins the game.

Dear winter,
I know you missed us while we were away in January and February, but you're rapidly turning into a clingy, pesky little brat who refuses to go home even when he knows that everyone is pretty tired of his antics. So let me put it as nicely as I can.....

JUST GO AWAY - SEE YA' NEXT CHRISTMAS!

You just want that chance to climb Jerimoth Hill. :joyfull:

Ha! I can do you one better--a "mountain" in my area is 285 FEET high. :hilarious: Scaled that "massive" thing many times--I'm queen of the mountain!! :joyfull: (Note: There is a specific kind of rock up there--and dang it, I can't remember the name of it--but it is due to this type of rock, that it received the distinction of "mountain" by geologists!)
