After finding the friendly face we sought, we headed over to Macy’s. Ornaments and Teddy bears (yes, plural) were purchased. A visit to Starbuckies, a quick stop at the hotel to drop off all of our bags, and then over to Radio City Music Hall.
The venue is amazing, the show was wonderful, and no, the Rockettes did not make me cry.*

I was very pleased to see the religious aspects of the show were not sanitized. That is really becoming a thing at home, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Sadly, I had to study that picture for more than half a minute before I caught it.The carpenter’s rule is “measure twice, cut once”.
I’m not sure what the printer’s motto is, but it clearly was not followed here.

I caught it while walking and had to double back for a picture.Sadly, I had to study that picture for more than half a minute before I caught it.
I think it's "copyediting costs exxtra."The carpenter’s rule is “measure twice, cut once”.

The indiscriminate, random capitalization is also an issue.I think it's "copyediting costs exxtra."
We did get to meet a Rockette but we did not get up close with the organ because another show was going on (or maybe they don’t include that anymore).Battalion 9 . . . wow.
Loved the Radio City pictures -- some day, I'll actually go see the Christmas show. It is a CLASSIC and no, they will not water down the religious aspect either.
So glad you took the backstage tour. Hubs and I went on the tour many years ago and really enjoyed it. They had one of the Rockettes come out to meet the group. Love the costumes. Hubs was also intrigued by the vintage Wurlitzer organ--OMG---the SOUND from that was outstanding! When a bass note was played, you could feel the vibration in the floor!
