Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Rewinding all the way back to brekkie. Yowza, the coffee is dreadful! But yay, I found the ketchup in a timely fashion.

Much like Tar-Jay, Krispy Kreme bombed in Canada.
Unlike Tar-Jay, they learned their lesson, have regrouped, and are making another attempt at it.

After finding the friendly face we sought, we headed over to Macy’s. Ornaments and Teddy bears (yes, plural) were purchased. A visit to Starbuckies, a quick stop at the hotel to drop off all of our bags, and then over to Radio City Music Hall.

The venue is amazing, the show was wonderful, and no, the Rockettes did not make me cry.*

I was very pleased to see the religious aspects of the show were not sanitized. That is really becoming a thing at home, so I was pleasantly surprised.

How fun to see the Rockettes in New York especially with a super cool friend!

After losing my phone, and thank you Lord, finding my phone, we went on the Stage Door Tour, and had a behind the scenes tour of the hall.

Now we’re hungry, so we headed out to eat. You can never go wrong with a pub. Great food, but crazy noisy.

Steak for me. My fries look pretty anemic, but it’s just the lighting. They were actually pretty good.

Again, no sticky toffee pudding on the menu, so again, no dessert for me. No dessert for anyone actually, but I’m the only one who really wanted it.

Don’t feel too bad for me though. I have sticky toffee pudding at home, so it’s all good.

We cut through Rockefeller Plaza - saw the rink, looked at the beautiful tree, and watched a few minutes of the Sak’s Osborne-Light light show.

Back to the hotel to fetch some Aero bars, and into a cab back to Penn Station.

After hugs goodbye, we walked back to the hotel. I spotted a number of these the other day, but didn’t take pics because of the rain.

Three of them within three blocks! I fear I may have gotten too close taking pictures though, because within minutes, I swear I thought I saw Doc Brown!

Battalion 9 . . . wow.

Loved the Radio City pictures -- some day, I'll actually go see the Christmas show. It is a CLASSIC and no, they will not water down the religious aspect either.

So glad you took the backstage tour. Hubs and I went on the tour many years ago and really enjoyed it. They had one of the Rockettes come out to meet the group. Love the costumes. Hubs was also intrigued by the vintage Wurlitzer organ--OMG---the SOUND from that was outstanding! When a bass note was played, you could feel the vibration in the floor! :jawdrop: :)

We did get to meet a Rockette but we did not get up close with the organ because another show was going on (or maybe they don’t include that anymore).

To heck with the protein this morning, I need the carb and sugar rush to get through my packing. We’re headed home today. :(

The flight leaves at 7:30, but we’ll probably head out sometime between 4:00 and 4:30.

But first, we have things to do. We’ve only bought the boys toques so far (you know, because they don’t sell toques in Canada), so we’re off to the Columbus Circle Christmas Market, and Strawberry Fields for the anniversary of Lennon’s death.

Pretty sure there’s some Starbuckies in my future too, ‘cause have I mentioned how vile the hotel coffee is?

Have a great day everyone.
