I always thought that boxing day was the day after Christmas. Is my memory starting to go south on me.Your Black Friday is our Boxing Day. I don’t do that carp either.
He also looks a tad larger than the one who ran past me that night in early Oct.
"Hmmm...how come my neighbor's room has a hot tub, and mine doesn't?"
"Good thing I booked on Expedia..."
"5am, and I still have to wait an hour for continental breakfast?? TripAdvisor is SO going to hear about this!"
It is. Your memory is fine. For now.I always thought that boxing day was the day after Christmas. Is my memory starting to go south on me.
OK, sorry, I thought you meant that Black Friday was on the same Day as YOUR boxing day. My mistake. I make so few it was hard to type that.It is. Your memory is fine. For now.
I was referring to the hype, the sales, the line-ups, the traditional frenzy. For many, it’s the chance to redeem all those gift cards and spend any leftover cash and buy the stuff you really wanted at significant savings. For others, it’s the chance to get all of next year’s shopping done. For me, it’s the chance to sleep in, and mock the fools who starting lining up at 3:00 am.
We normally use Black Friday as the day to Deck The Halls inside and out for Christmas. Set up and decorate the tree. We put various stuff on the lawn. Hang lights and super large ornaments on the Cherry Blossom tree in our front yard.
Etc. Etc.
