Not that I'm a Black Friday shopper to begin with, but didn't it used to be that those sales ads were top secret until maybe a day or two before Thanksgiving? I'm surprised at the number of stores "unveiling" their Black Friday sales WEEKS in advance this year.

I'll stick to what I like best--Small Business Saturday, the day after.

There is not a sale in the world worth it to me to go shopping on Black Friday!
Most deals can be found online now anyway. I liked doing online orders during Black Friday. Because I was busy the whole time, didn't have to deal with customers, and I usually wiggled my way into working with people I liked. Now that would be a long time in the back room if it was with someone you didn't like.

We normally use Black Friday as the day to Deck The Halls inside and out for Christmas. Set up and decorate the tree. We put various stuff on the lawn. Hang lights and super large ornaments on the Cherry Blossom tree in our front yard.
Etc. Etc.

Hey everybody, here is a very interesting video I came across when participating on the Games Forum.
It's not a game....it is some very real and interesting facts about being a red head.

A bear was out & about again tonight! First one I've seen in town since Nov 3rd. This one was snooping around a motel across from where I live. I don't think this is the same one I saw on the 3rd, but he also looks a tad larger than the one who ran past me that night in early Oct.
So I'm not sure if this is a new visitor or not. (?) Either way, here is a short video I shot of him snooping around the motel. Can think of a wide variety of captions to add to these few short seconds...

"Hmmm...how come my neighbor's room has a hot tub, and mine doesn't?"
"Good thing I booked on Expedia..."
"5am, and I still have to wait an hour for continental breakfast?? TripAdvisor is SO going to hear about this!"

Ha ha ha!! We may never know the reason why, but I think that bears like you. :) The most recent one is probably the cousin of the first bear you saw. :D

What is it with your town having bears roaming free? Where do you live? Jellystone park?
