Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I have not been that impressed with Shark Week this year. It's turned into a joke.

Yah, I'm really trying to figure out what's going on. I just glanced at the 2016 schedule, and it was different last year.

In 2017, it's like they're trying some sort of stupid, reality tv, bandwagon stuff. The new lineup is a big dud. I'll bet they also paid big bucks to some new marketing executive, for messing this up. :banghead:

Every station is going towards "reality" TV. It's all made up.

Taking Auntie to lunch in Niagara on the Lake tomorrow, and then back to the Falls.

We were chatting last week, and she unabashedly told me that she hasn't seen the Falls since 2009, and wouldn't it be nice if someone took their dear old Auntie some time. :hilarious:

More than half of her life spent on the mission field, dependent on the donations of others, has made her pretty nervy. Y'all would love her.

I haven't been there since 1969, but, I'm pretty sure it is still a large volume of water falling over the edge of a cliff. Different water maybe, but, nature drops water (rain and snow) directs it to rivers, which fill the Niagara River, drops it over the edge, evaporates it, brings it back upward to the clouds, then disperses it again (rain and snow). So it is possible that it is the same water that I saw in 1969. In other words it's like the Treehouse in MK... been there, done that, see no need for an encore.

I'd like to say that is pretty, but, all the heat in the world would never make me want to live with that stuff again. So pretty picture, lousy life experience if it lasts over one or two days. How quickly all of you have forgotten the constant whaling and gnashing of teeth all winter about the cold, the snow and the ice. Now because a few have worked up a sweat over the last few weeks, that white stuff is once again welcomed. I knew it would happen, so I guess the question is... which one do you really like? The heat (which is complained about all summer) or the cold (which is complained about all winter). With the exception of Minnie of course, but, she really should see someone about that problem.

@JenniferS , latest on the Biebs is that he's cancelled his concert tour, and replaced that with the lord . . . o_O

Aaaahhh, I'd read that he had cancelled the rest of the tour, but I was waiting for the reason. Honestly, I was 50/50 on voice fatigue or rehab. Finding the Lord is better, no?

Love the Falls. So much energy and power there. Yes, I know it's just water rushing over a rocky cliff, but it's a place where I really feel the presence of God.

As to the Treehouse, you're just nuts! On the plus side, if enough people feel like you do, then when I run away and hide out there, no one will find me.

Yeah, I'm with you. You won't hear me complaining about the heat at all this summer. Mainly because we haven't had any. Just rain. Always rain.
