And we're overdue some bear pictures from yesterday that she promised. I realize she has a busy schedule this week, with a lot going on with family / traveling, etc. But....you know, priorities. We come first.

I should have recognized who this was. I mean, every once in a while, dude shows up on the ocassional coin, but nope - I had to read the side inscription.

Interesting fact - his brother, Edward VIII did not reign long enough (only 326 days) to ever make it on to any coinage. The dies were cast, but no coins were struck prior to his December 10 abdication.
