I was still a little disappointed that we hadn't seen an eagle on the nest, so we went back for a second look.

We decided to just relax and enjoy the view from the benches there anyway, and just wait to see what may happen. Sure enough, after patiently waiting, up popped a head...

I was so thrilled. No matter how many times I see these beauties they always take my breath away.

We picked ups some BBQ ribs and chicken from our favorite take-out place there (Michelbob's), and went over to a little park we like for dinner as the sun set. The view was awesome, and the food simply delicious.

We then headed back for our 4 hour drive, but did a Culver's stop half-way home for ice cream. All in all, it was a perfect day!

We're bringing a couple of friends to Sea world this weekend, so we had to check out a few things this morning over there. It was pretty quiet over there, so we watched a couple of shows and visited a few of our favorite places there, had lunch in the Passholder lounge, and came home. Life is good.

I shared this over in the Star Wars Episode VIII thread, but thought some of you may be interested. We haven't gotten a movie trailer yet, but a good portion of the soundtrack seems to have dropped already, At first I had mixed feelings on the overall feel of this movie, but after listening to many of the tracks, I'm liking this ultra DARK mood to it. I've always been a sucker for movie scores, and the SW films have always done the job well. Now give us a teaser trailer!!

Is that the official logo for the film? Have any films not had a yellow/gold as the text color?

As far as I know red logo is what they're running with this time. It took awhile to get used to, but it's growing on me. Director Rian Johnson said recently that there will be many things with this movie that break from traditional SW movies. The soundtrack so far seems to be the darkest of the series, yet some tracks even have a feel to them of a certain boat-sinking movie that @JenniferS could appreciate. :cautious:

I just hope it still keeps to it's roots as to what made Star Wars what it is. Hopefully by early April we'll get that much-anticipated teaser trailer.

It's supposed to be in the upper 50s and sunny tomorrow! And it comes at the perfect time because I have recess duty on Fridays! And Sunday is supposed to be 60!

That would be great listening in Dolby Surround Sound in a movie theater.

-Way too early for an official soundtrack to be released.
-None of the musical pieces have that Star Wars feel to them.
-One of the songs is called "Kylo Ren's Latest Hissy Fit" :rolleyes:

Note to self: Never trust the internet. (Well, except for this thread, naturally)

Wait until you see the song for when Rey and Kylo fall in love.


The lyrics perfectly describe their love/hate relationship. Can Kylo still conquer the galaxy while his heart throbs for Rey? Can they separate work from play?

I can't wait for the film!
