it came up in google as www.spreadshirt.com. I don't know anything about the company though....
So what do you all think of the gondola rumors for WDW? Seems like a nice change from the bus / boat tradition. My main concern would be frequent downtime & delays during the stormy spring - summer months. But I'm also sure Disney has weighed this factor into the equation if that is truly what they're planning. What says you all? Yay or nay or undecided?
If it improves transportation at all, I'm game.

I love the idea of having a unique transportation option at a lower than deluxe price point hotel.
Which means the price of the hotels are about to go up.

The monorails dont worry me neither do airplanes as i think of them as Large busses. its just the bouncing of the gondolas that worry me

But in truth, I don't think it will be practical, between the weather, and the hordes of guests that need to be transported around. That was my first thought when I saw the rumor. I mean, if you think about the monorail with multiple cars, and then the large boats that transport people from the TTA to the park--both options can handle crowds--and even then--there's always a wait for the next one to come along.
Hence, as much as I think the gondolas are awesome, I don't think this idea is going to fly (no pun intended).

I love the monorails and always have. They seem quite stable, from a safety point of view.

I don't care for gondolas that much because my dad and I used to ride one at Crystal Beach decades ago. As we went out over the water, he would point out every single time that we were being held in place by a single spot weld ... and that the contract went to the lowest bidder.
Pictured in the background is the Comet (built from the remains of the world famous Cyclone), my very first roller coaster ride.
For many years, my dad's employer KeepRite hosted their company picnic at Crystal Beach. My mom would never step near any of the attractions, so I was my dad's ride buddy. Good times!
