Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Here are just a few more pictures from tonight.

This is the old Hibernia Tower (the one with purple, green, and gold lights). It was once the tallest building in New Orleans.

The Superdome! IMO the best stadium in the world.

But the concert was at the Smoothie King Center. Again, stupid name for an arena.

I was getting impatient waiting for the concert.

If there's a mirror I always have to do this.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

@Eric1955 , thank you for sharing the wonderful pictures of your city. My jaw dropped when I saw that beautiful photo of the large riverboat--stunning!! :jawdrop: Enjoyed your commentary as well, as I've never been down there and liked your descriptions.

The food photos looked scrumptious!! :hungry: I actually chuckled when you listed the food from the stadium--I mean, you guys have REAL food down there at a sports stadium--not the standard, hot dogs, etc. Foodies rule! :joyfull:

I love how "Old Florida" that park is. Lots of people come to swim in the spring there or canoe out in the river. It's very laid back and just so pretty. I love the cool trees there.

Wow. That photo really touched me. It's been a number of years, but I've been off the beaten path (Disney, etc.) in Florida before. I've almost forgotten what a gem that state really is with all the natural beauty. And I like the older attractions that were so relaxed and promoted more of a "nature" experience, like this one above.

You should plan a February trip sometime - we'll show you our Florida!

That's fun to see it around dawn. Hubs and I were out in the car last night and I pointed it out to him--it was huge in the sky!!
The sun was rising behind me as I took that. I was waiting for one of the birds here to fly across the sky in front of it, but that just didn't happen, and it was getting lower and lower in the sky., so I just shot that picture.

In all fairness though, I never met a hot dog I didn't like. I even like the $1.50 carp from Costco. I like them so much, I eat them completely plain. Apparently the one thing you all put ketchup on - I don't.

Hot dogs = yum! I will even eat them cold, and sometimes right out of the package. I do put ketchup on them when they are warm, it drives hubby nuts.

Hot dogs are also great cut into bite sized pieces, fried and mixed in with mac and cheese.:hungry:
