(Bioreconstruct is at the Florida State Fair. I follow him on Twitter for his Disney photo updates, but sometimes you get oddball stuff like this. :hilarious:)
Intriguing, but still :depressed: Whoever is going overboard with all these obscure, deep fried "edibles" needs to go down to New Orleans with Billy Joel & experience some real food.

Of course, I probably shouldn't give credit to Billy on how good New Orleans food is. He didn't start the fryer. It was always burning since the world's been turning.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Interesting conversation with the Ski.

We were arguing over my rendition of I Don't want to Live on the Moon. So I YouTubed it, and of course I was right - you know because I actually have it on my iTunes and listen to it often! This led to a discussion about Jim Henson.

Jim died in 1990, six years before Ski was born. He said, "Actually that makes me sad." To which I said, "Now you know how I feel. It is beyond my comprehension that I never breathed Earth's air at the same time as Walt Disney".

Missed it by 8 months. :( This is why it is on my bucket list to go to DL. I want to walk where Walt walked. It might also explain my great affection for CoP, Tiki Birds, and IaSW.

When you're at DL, you can't help but think that Walt walked these same streets many times over. For me at least. And that he was so much a part of the park's design. And then you pass his apartment above the fire station...

I know what you mean about Walt. Going to DL always makes me a little weepy the first time I walk to the gates and unto Main Street because it just makes me so happy to be in the place that Walt built, that made him happy and then made millions of people happy. We were able to go into Walt's apartment above the firehouse on a tour once and as I stood there looking out the window, I could just imagine Walt standing there watching the crowds enjoy his park, that was really magical to me. Yep I'm a Disney nerd.
