Oh no.Sooooooo no Trick or Treat for us tomorrow. My daughter broke her ankle. She's in a big cast.
Our ToT is tomorrow only. It's always the Saturday before Halloween unless it falls on Sat. Our town is small (only four blocks downtown) and the Chamber of Commerce does ToT in conjunction with the residential because more than half of us don't have next door neighbors we can walk to. All the businesses give something out like Subway does cookies and DQ does baby cones. The doc wants her off it until we see a specialist on Monday. My sisters and her dad are going to buy her candy. What about Monday? Can you not get a wheelchair or something?

She's on pain meds that are making her hypergiddy. We're not going to get to the watch party so gave my tickets to a friend. I got her favorite pizza, pop and ice cream and a comfy chair and footstool right in front of the tv.Oh no.
Is she in a lot of pain? Poor kid.

Her school was having a fall harvest field day and one of the things was an obstacle course with a bar to jump over in the middle. She caught her toe and went down full weight on her ankle. It swelled to the size of a grapefruit and I knew it was broken. At least we got seen right away at ER. We were in the hospital only about an hour.Oh no!! What happened? I want to send her candy too!!! Hope it's not too bad of a break (is there such a thing?!) and she's not in too much pain.

I didn't think they would win the first at Chicago. I did a lot of praying.Sorry to hear about your daughter @MOXOMUMD . There is no good time for that to happen, but it really stinks that she'll miss trick-or-treating.
At least your team won last night though. A friend of mine was at that game and will be there tonight too - must be an amazing experience!
