Woo hoo!! USA Women's Gymnastics Team won gold medals last night. USA swimmer, Michael Phelps, won his 21st gold medal.

(Yet, for me, the most thrilling event of the Rio games so far had to be the Men's Cycle Road Race last weekend, especially when they were careening down the mountain at over 50 mph! Major kudos to Greg Van Avermaet of Belgium for his exciting win over the cyclists from Denmark and Poland--silver and bronze medals.)

I totally agree with you on the sauces. But I'll take your nuts!. Wait that sounds weird.

Around here, they usually garnish with chopped peanuts. These are usually the crappy dregs of the peanut barrel that couldn't keep it together enough to be considered a full nut or even a half nut. (Legume technically, but I digress.)

I like a heartier nut - like a pea-can.

Finally got to try Crystal Pepsi today!



I bought the last of what was left at the store. The stuff is selling like crazy here. I was too young to have had Crystal Pepsi when it first came out, so I was excited to finally try it. Plus, I'm a sucker for anything retro.

It tastes a lot like Pepsi at first but then the flavor changes. I'm not quite sure how to describe the different taste. It's kind of like Sprite but without the citrus taste. I really liked it though.
