I was just about to go into the MDE app and check wait times. Yesterday's times actually weren't that bad.

It also must be raining/storming down there because the outdoor rides all say temporarily closed.

That's strange. The weather there doesn't look bad - based on either the NWS radar maps or the Weather Channel's current conditions for Orlando. The internet couldn't be lying. Maybe it was a fast moving little storm.

We struck out at the movie theatre, so we did a bit of shopping, had some lunch, and have checked into the hotel. No free jacuzzi upgrade this time.

As a special until the end of April, the hotel is accepting CAD @ par. So bonus - instead of the online rate of $394 USD, we paid $343.74 CAD. Score! That price includes two nights in a King room, two breakfasts, and dinner one night.

I wisely changed our dinner ressie from 7:00 to 8:00. And now it's time for a wee nap.

Poker chip marker thingies for Hubby.

And a few lovely things from L'Occitane for me,

Hubby bought me this for work.

He picked up some American beer, so he says he's good to go.

Well, here is a much nicer Easter egg hunt story. It's about the Perkins School for the Blind in Massachusetts. This story was on our local TV stations, and I copied a picture for you to see from the Boston Globe that also ran a story on this, on March 26. The blind children listen for the sound planted in the Easter eggs on the lawn. They reach down toward the grass where they hear the sound from the eggs, and then they pick up a plastic egg with maybe Hershey's kisses inside, for example. It's really a lovely story about how these sight-impaired children can enjoy an Easter egg hunt. (Just click on the image and it will get bigger.)

Yup. I like your story better.

My hometown is home to one of the first ever established schools for the blind in Canada. Even today, students travel from across the country to attend W. Ross MacDonald School.

I hate you for posting that picture. How am I supposed to get myself in a massive self pity mood when that so solidly points out how lucky my life has been. Curse you Minnie, you have ruined my downer.;)

That is a lot higher wait times, than when I was there last week. I still wish I was there.

Remember when I said I was holding onto the last seconds of spring break? Well those last seconds are here. Tomorrow I start back with the early mornings, classes and homework. Actually, I should have used break to get ahead of my homework, but that plan failed.

I'm excited to see my 3rd graders again and see what they did over break, but I'm not excited for the 6am alarms.

I will look forward to someone else being up that early besides me again!

I was good. I was good. I was good. And now I am so stuffed, I could explode.
Let's see where I went wrong, shall we?

Bread Service. Between us, every bite was eaten.

Lump crab cakes. The same ones that may or may not have been responsible for last year's outbreak of hives. I guess we'll know for sure by Wednesday.

Close up.

Caesar salad, no croutons.

Filet and the best mashed EVER!
Steak was ordered Medium-Well. It was Medium. Truth be told though, if the kitchen is going to miss, I'm more of a Medium-girl the older I get.

Transferred to Hubby.

My go-to restaurant dessert - creme brûlée.

Not pictured, coffee, and many glasses of water.

So Peeps, what was the straw that broke the camel's back?

Hubby's pics to follow. He says he feels good, so no analysis of his meal is required.
