Good morning and Happy Easter to all. I overslept this morning, so no sunrise service for me this year...

No sunrise for me this year either, I went to the second service. I missed the pageantry of the sunrise service, but I didn't miss getting up super early for it. We went to a nice Easter brunch buffet, no pictures though as I was too eager to eat!

When I was grabbing bagels this morning I drove by a park advertising a Sonrise Service.

So either it is a dyslexic parish or those signs were left by God and even the creator makes bad dad jokes.

I've seen a lot of churches around here advertise their sunrise service as Sonrise. I guess it is a nice play with words about the events of Easter, I'm just glad my church doesn't do that.

That was gorgeous--one of my favorite hymns. We sang that in church this morning, but we sure didn't sound nearly as good as that choir!

Just spent four and a half hours watching The Ten Commandments.
Splendid!

I saw it at the movie theatre three years ago with Auntie. That was even splendid-er!

Comfy seat. Big screen. Surround sound. Popcorn and soda. Aaaaah!

For someone that doesn't watch many movies you sure have the stamina for the long ones.
