So the kid's school is closed today for Good Friday. DW is at work, which means that I am taking care of the kid while I try to work. She is very lucky as I am letting her watch whatever movies she would like. Otherwise, I would get zero work done.

It isn't technically a national holiday so not everything is closed. But typically, a lot of schools close.

Schools are closed around here. Stores and restaurants are open. Half my office was away, but I needed to finish a project by today and pass it off to the people taking it over so I went in. Left early though.
