It's not a holiday here. Yet, important to note that the N.Y. Stock Exchange is always closed down on Good Friday--hence, a lot of the big financial "houses" are also either closed, or working with a reduced staffing level. Same for Boston in our financial district--not quite a ghost town down there yesterday, but many are off, due to markets being closed on Good Friday.
As for moi, I was stunned that my boss let me leave (with full pay) at 2:00 yesterday!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!
