When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Yep, started needing the drug store cheaters for reading in my early 40's.
But, when it comes to distance, I can still see a gnat on a rat at 200 yards. ;) :)
At 47, I have perfect reading vision.
My distance vision, however, is total carp.

I wear my sunglasses all the time, as they are prescription, and I can't see beyond three feet without them.
So, when you see me wearing sunglasses in every pic, it's not just me trying to be cool.

The funny thing is that I'm probably the only student who can say that and get away with it. I've had this guy for a semester already (Accounting 1) and was kind of the teacher's pet. It became pretty clear when he wouldn't call on me and ask 20 questions like he would other students. Then one day when we were doing group work and I was using a slightly different method than he uses and when he came around he's just like, "Whatever, I trust you; do it your way." It's not the first time he's called on me and my answer's been, "I'm really not sure, could you explain this?" or asked him to repeat the question because he's going so quickly. It is the first time that he's stopped class when I've said something. I think the class was happy because we ended really early. The guy next to me was even happier because he probably would have gotten called on next. Sometimes being the teacher's pet has its perks

Nice position to be in! :D

Ditto.

We have central air, but our house being a 5-level backsplit, it just doesn't push enough cold air to the top level - this, of course, being the bedroom level.

The master bedroom is the last stop, and gets neither cold air from the a/c, nor much heat from the furnace.
We usually install a window a/c, as Hubby is a "sweater".

No need this year.
As it was, the central air was on for fewer than a dozen days this summer.

We have the same issue and have auxiliary window units too. I often skipped the central A/C this year and just turned on one or two of the small units. It ran every night this summer in our room, as I am old and need cold to sleep.

High of 89 tomorrow. Not that I get to enjoy it much. I went to the doctor yesterday because I had a cough for over a week and my mom was getting concerned. He said that it is an infection, so he put me on an antibiotic, but that my allergies are also causing it and my time outdoors needs to be limited. :grumpy: Yet another reason to move to Florida

Are your allergens not in Florida? My DD worst year was in Middle School. She went for a week to WDC with her class for a week (cherry blossoms) then we went for almost to weeks to Florida for my convention at Uni and another week at Disney all that Florida pollen. When we got home Spring was starting up here and her little lungs just couldn't take it. Three Spring Blooming Seasons was more than she could take.

One of my pairs is transition lenses. I like them to Walk Walt. I just wish they would clear as quickly as they go dark. I'm careful with this pair 'cause bifocal transition lenses are 'spensive. :banghead:

@PeterAlt My worry about either, if the end goal in best case scenario is to publish or sell, is to put something out there publicly that is not copyrighted.
Professionals will steal it. Copyrighted or not. The story is that easy to tweak.

It's just that I've had this thing in my head for years and can't wait to see a reaction to it. Even if professionals tries to steal it, they would only know the general gist of the story and can not possibly come out the way I have it playing out in my head, so when I do it it will also be unique but it would be more unique if I do if first.

The thing is as short as it can be and still be called a full length feature... Maybe 40/45 minutes total. And just 4 characters in one set location from beginning to end.
