I should try that. I'm going to only dump the laptop anyhow so I have nothing to loose. I got my moneys worth out of her but she was always a pain. I think it is even heavier than the Dell that I had prior to that and it is slightly oversized so it has always been an issue traveling with it, had to squeeze into backpack.

This Dell I'm on now is XP and if I knew what I was talking about I'd think Norton and McAfee are war'n within.

btw, I hope you are not confusing the dell brand highest end brand (Alienware doesnt count as their laptops are made of crappy plastic) which is named "XPS" with Windows XP. ( I kinda felt the vibe when I mentioned my laptop)

So I clicked on an Alert Quote and got:

Table 'delivery.oxm_ad_zone_click' doesn't exist

Like I know what that means?:banghead:
Means the page didnt load, the page was badly programmed or just a server fart?

She does an 8-hour clean one week, and a 4-hour clean the next.

I'm not totally useless; I do quite a bit in between.
like getting hit by falling pergolas? ;)
He's a lawyer. He knows better than to say something over the phone. Especially since he wasn't 100% sure it was my mom...

It will be hilarious if he tried to scare you by "I'll sue you if you tell someone about our conversations!".

Those sitting on benches are not in the stores spending money!
I love that silly excuse, funny that it blew on Disney's face.. as Fans were using fastpass to go to other attractions and not spending hah!

I just updated at work from 7 to 8.1. I'm still getting used to it, but with the classic shell it's pretty nice. I still fine myself doing something that makes it revert to the Metro GUI and have to hunt and peck to get the classic screen back.

I was always taught to NEVER have two different anti-virus programs on the same computer. Maybe @englanddg can chime in on this?
Correct, if you use 2 antivirus.. specially as crappy as Norton or McAfee.. they pretty much fight each other to control the infected files. Norton is so bad it can give you BSODS and even destroy your system when you uninstall it.

Two AV is generally not necessary, and they can even conflict with each other.

MS Security Essentials is fine for day to day AV (in WIndows 8 it's part of Windows Defender), and it's free and doesn't require a subscription.

However, regardless of the AV you run, I would highly recommend purchasing Malwarebytes and running that as well. It's boss, and catches things many AV programs (including McAfee and Norton) won't.
I honestly Swear by ESET Nod32.. everything that went past any other antivirus.. including the paranoic AVIRA.. was found by NOD32.

I honestly think malwarebyte's offering as more specialized in removing ad-ware, keyloggers and advanced specialized trojans.

So. tomorrow night at 8 for me. *Plans locked in*
Some crazy people talk about Titanic a lot, but now I know you're sane.

I actually checked my work schedule the other day to make sure I wasn't scheduled for tomorrow night. Sadly I will miss the first hour of the Packers first preseason game, though. :(

No AV should wrap itself around your OS like that.
