Blue, orange and green can be interchangeable depending on the mood, though. And red isn't bad, it's just my least favorite of all of them. I'll still eat it!

Too funny. You can see they dumped full 200 count boxes as is on the shelf. They obviously had zero OCD tendencies.

We left for work at 9:00 a.m. and got home at 11:30 p.m. So much for "helping out for a couple of hours".

My bad hip was hurting so badly that I was actually in tears earlier this evening. Thank you Lord for Advil Liqui-Gels. All of the staging, cleaning and furniture moving is done!

Tomorrow morning is the grand opening of the models. Kind of anti-climactic though, as 34 of the available 40 units are already sold.

If I remember, I'll snap some pics.
Prices range from $1.1 - 1.4 million (before upgrades!)

Just do everything at low level of heat.. how hard could that be?

I'm not a chef, but, aren't lemon juice and white wine two completely different things with completely different results? BTW, alcohol will flame up on you fairly easily, lemon juice... not so much.

Wine usually concentrates after flaming out, leaving a distinctive flavor.. but very far from Lemon.

btw, next time the wine catches fire.. use a metal lid and cover it.

I was following my mom's recipe with a slight difference. I forgot lemon juice so my gf just poured white wine and said that should do it. I think the temp was too high too.

Low and slow. Low...and slow.

Also, you should have reduced the white wine first, it enhances the flavour.

Don't be discouraged. It takes practice.

I can't tell you how many dishes I've screwed up over the years (and still do from time to time)...

But, when in doubt, never go higher than medium heat unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing or you are boiling water.
