Just got Mom into bed after listening to her stories about her days in the Army (she was never in the Army) and how we needed to call her parents so they would know she was spending the night here (Mom's 94, so her parents would be, what, 114 or so)...

Of course. As I indicated, I'm in queue and am really lookin' forward to it, but, those involved on the construction document end are first priority.
I was out of the game and office for 4 years, and busted my butt to get back up to where I was, and am now way beyond. I welcome, and love, new challenges!

I do sympathize with your plight and it just reaffirmed my belief that there is such a thing as living to long. I don't want to go, but, I don't ever want to be like that either. Is that a terrible thing to say?

No it's not. I've told DH this countless times - I don't want to live to be that old unless I have full control of my faculties (and body functions I might add). But given my lack of sanity now, I don't think there's any hope for my brain cells making it to 94!

Nope. As the family is looking for assisted living arrangements for MIL. It is hard on everyone.

No it's not. I've told DH this countless times - I don't want to live to be that old unless I have full control of my faculties (and body functions I might add). But given my lack of sanity now, I don't think there's any hope for my brain cells making it to 94!

Fortunately, I still have enough control of my 'faculties' to not make any further comment on your last statement. Wish I had the same will power over in News & Rumors!

I was following my mom's recipe with a slight difference. I forgot lemon juice so my gf just poured white wine and said that should do it. I think the temp was too high too.

I'm not a chef, but, aren't lemon juice and white wine two completely different things with completely different results? BTW, alcohol will flame up on you fairly easily, lemon juice... not so much.
