Baby back ribs, BBQ meatballs, mozzarella cheese sticks, shrimp, egg rolls, bosco sticks, spinach dip with Hawaiian bread. Then I took my first stab at Apple Salsa. Dang it turned out good.

Apples, pears, orange, onion, garlic, green and jalapeno pepper, cilantro, oil, vinegar, little lime and apple juice. Slurp!

Made about 2 quarts and it is just about gone!

Boy was that an entertaining Superb Owl! I was 100% engaged in it the entire time!

As for the commercials, I give them a D for a grade. Only one truly made me laugh, and that was the Stephen Colbert Pistachio commercials. I guess the one with the big headed dog did, too, but I don't remember what it was advertising. It seems every year the commercials go downhill, likely to price increases.

Aaron Rodgers doesn't need a break (though he did get one this season, just in his collarbone).

And I don't know why, but I've strayed away from liking the Ravens. A year or so ago, they were okay, but I just stopped liking them.
Flacco had been in the playoffs his entire career. He needed a break.

*shakes head*. Not very loyal, are you? Except to the Packers maybe? I just hope you don't like the Steelers...

Okay, you go with that logic.

And no, I'm not a loyal Ravens fan... Packers fan, yes. Steelers I have no strong opinion on.

Is what Sherman did so bad? He said good game and was shoved in the face. He got fired up and it carried over to the sideline interview. The anger people get over the whole thing is ridiculous.

Yeah, I found the whole Sherman tangent icky. Boils down to some have class, some don't.

I just watched the press interview with Manning. He said the errors at the beginning of the game was because it was so loud. He went on to say the Seahawks played an excellent game. Whenever he was asked about other Bronco players he kept using the same line (six or seven times) "I can't answer that because I don't want to embarrass anybody." A polite way to say they stunk.

That logic is my defense against anyone who would bash my team:cautious:. I'm pretty loyal to two teams: Ravens and 49ers. If I didn't have the Ravens, Niners would be it.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

@AllyInWonderland posted a link to the big headed dog commercial. Hubby and I laughed out loud.
Sadly, in Canada, we don't get the true Super Bowl commercials.

Well that was classy. It is over, why burn bridges staying stuff.

Considering I don't really care for either artist/group it was a really well done halftime show.
I love that RHCP did my favorite song and that Mars let them have the stage during their performance. (They put on an awesome show and are all over the stage.) Best part: when both groups were jumping. I understand the whole patriotic thing but it ended on such a somber note. I kept thinking....is that it?
