Sounds like he put the velcro sheets on instead!Dave broke down and put the flannel sheets on our bed a couple of weeks ago when it had got so cold. If i wear my flannel jammies, I literally can't move.

Isn't that the point! In bed, warm and comfy, all wrapped up...chilled air to breath making you appreciate the warmth.Dave broke down and put the flannel sheets on our bed a couple of weeks ago when it had got so cold. If i wear my flannel jammies, I literally can't move.
Yup - got to work late because I kept hitting snooze. Blamed being late on the kids. Fixed my avatar. Went out for a staff Christmas lunch. Opened the mail for the past 3 days. Called it a day. Like I said yesterday - good to get back to (slacking at) work!

I remember those...but I would have been rather young. Haven't thought about them in years!I'm probably the only one on here old enough to remember "flannel boards" (pre-velcro days). I remember our Sunday school teacher having one and it was always a thrill if she picked you to place one of the characters on it, especially at Christmas because she had all the animals, and the shepherds and Wise Men besides the Holy Family and the angels, so just about everyone got a turn. We thought it was so cool that the flannel stuck to flannel. Now it's me....

*nods head and pretends to know what they are talking about*
It's also called a felt board.
Okay, now that looks familiar.

That sounds almost too warm.Dave broke down and put the flannel sheets on our bed a couple of weeks ago when it had got so cold. If i wear my flannel jammies, I literally can't move.
We still have those in our Sunday school rooms but I think they are very well used. I was just Googling that myself, as I didn't know the difference in flannel and felt. (flannel is woven fabric whereas felt is not woven but more layered randomly)

I'm currently wearing sweatpants, a sweatshirt, and have a heavy blanket on. Where is spring?
I'd sure be sweating with all that on right now...!
Dave broke down.

He's a trash can remember - they have no circulatory system.
