Hopefully he took them in RAW format? It's up to them to do that, but I certainly hope they do. The poor kids - the printer ruined their invitations ("Road Island" vs. "Rhode Island"), and now the pictures are awful too. I think I counted maybe a dozen that were OK. I'll try yo doctor them up for them if they want, but isn't that what a photographer is supposed to do, especially after not releasing them for a month?
ExactlyThey can be utilized in more than one way! It's why they have the weird cutout in the bottom.
Hopefully he took them in RAW format?
Road Island??? OMG You must of had them printed in New Jersey!!
Contact the photog and see if he has the original picture data.Canada actually....and I had nothing to do with it. They didn't arrive until 2 weeks before the wedding either....
As far as RAW format - I don't know. I have the CD and they're jpegs.
It's actually a "she" and she retains the copyrights to all pictures. My daughter's wedding photographer was just the opposite - he posted everything online (for a fee of course) within a week and they could do as they pleased with them after that.. This one took a month to release the pictures, took crappy pictures (lots of glare, random color shifts, etc) and only posts "watermarked" photos online. I can fix most of these, so I'll probably just do that. I know my son's got enough on his mind right now anyway (the week after the wedding his car was totaled, so he's driving our old van now, except that this week he's out in Seattle at a management training thing)Contact the photog and see if he has the original picture data.
And don't you mean Kanaduh
You don't think that if you complained about the bad pictures enough that she would help you out? Sometimes just the mention of bad publicity will get people to bend their own rules. It's actually a "she" and she retains the copyrights to all pictures. I've worked with a few of those!
*facepalms* Urgh! That's frustrating just to read. So sorry Nemo. Professionals should do a professional job, and that's just...not professional.
I wan't trying to imply you fall into that category...but, the video did make me laugh. Hiring...has become quite difficult.
Oh, I meant Nemo's first post. Haven't gotten to the video yet, just got on...
