We went up through Smoky Mountain National Park this afternoon. Saw a lot of deer, a fox, some wild turkeys, etc. It rained a bit while we were there, but it was still gorgeous. The sun was shining through the raindrops that were still clinging to the tree branches, so it just looked like a fairyland. I didn't get a picture of that, but here's one that I took:

Meanwhile in Cheesenadoland, it is currently 5 degree windchill. Oh, and next week it could get down to -30 degree windchill around Wednesday.... oh joy.....

Warm day in DC today - people were eating lunch outdoors while joggers in shorts and t-shirts (and even tank tops) passed by. But it won't last.
