Love the flamingos. When my son was younger, he hated them because I wanted to stand there all day.

So.... my mom fell in the bathroom the other night, and we had to take her to the accident room today. Seems she fractured a rib. She's in a lot of pain right now and the doctor said it will take a long time to heal.

I'm sorry.

Hopefully the pain goes away soon, and she heals quick.

Ouch! Hopefully she'll heal faster than expected. Rib injuries are no fun at all. I've never had one myself, but my uncle did (skiing accident) and for a long time, even after it healed, he complained about dull pain.

I hope she heals well!

Is she taking pain meds and if so, is she more confused? Alzheimer people on pain meds - love them!

I do hope she feels better quickly and will say a prayer for her. At least it wasn't a hip, thank God!

She's just on extra-strength Tylenol for pain. The doctor said that if she needs something stronger, she'd write her a prescription.
