The way you quoted my post it looks like I'm blaming Meg for my lack of snow.
Well she is second cousin's with this guy:

So she could be the one to blame for that too.

I hate snow.

I woke up to a surprise. The ground was covered in a blanket of thick, white snow! And it was still coming down pretty good, too. As I proceeded to depart from my warm shelter, I drove down a snow covered hill, and then had to go up another steep hill. As I was at the bottom of both hills (at an intersection), one car going up the hill that I needed to go up got stuck. I proceeded to sit there waiting for approximately ten minutes. There was quite a line behind me. Finally the car got all the way up, and so did I. I got to class.

Later, as I was driving home, I got down the now-plowed hill, and proceeded to drive up the still non-plowed hill. I got stuck. I had to back my way back down the road and proceed to take an alternate route home.

I hate snow.
You're lucky in my opinion. Alabama only gets snow about once a year, and it's a surprise when it happens.

We definitely need to include this sentiment on the official Sageteers crest.
@donaldtoo - I read your post about the upcoming wedding. Congratulations! My son got married last May, and my daughter in 2011. You're in for a real roller coaster ride, so just be prepared!

Thanks so very much for the congrats, and congrats to you as well!
And also, thanks for the heads up. I'm tryin' to let the ladies (DW, oldest DD and youngest DD) do most of the planning and only chime in when/if asked. ;) I'm kinda' feelin' a bit like George Banks in "Father of the Bride" these days, but it's not about me and I'm gonna' do my part to make her day as magically memorable as possible. :)
Thanks again! :)

One Little Spark...
My mother shared this with me by email today. This is odd, because I don't get emails from her very often. Not sure how she came upon the video, but...

Her note read...

"You were born nearly 2 months early, as you know. I couldn't hold you until you were nearly 3 months old, something you now appreciate fully as you are a parent. Your father and I spent every night and day at the incubator, praying for you to pull through. And, you did, little pointy head!

We love you son, and can't wait to see you this Christmas.

Mom"

(I was born with a pointy head because my skull wasn't fully formed, which is why I have a hat on in all my "birth pictures", so that's where the nickname came from.)

The feels! Dang it Mom!

But, here is the background of the video...

"Photographer Benjamin Scot Miller captures the first year of his son's life after he was born 14 weeks premature. From the early days in the NICU to the days after bringing little Ward home, this heartwarming video will leave you in tears."

First a warning, while this video is safe for work, there are some striking images (not graphic) of a premature baby in the NICU.

Anyhow, this is why I shouldn't cut onions while near the computer. <sniffle>

It was too touching not to share.
