Thanks so very much for the congrats, and congrats to you as well!
And also, thanks for the heads up. I'm tryin' to let the ladies (DW, oldest DD and youngest DD) do most of the planning and only chime in when/if asked. ;) I'm kinda' feelin' a bit like George Banks in "Father of the Bride" these days, but it's not about me and I'm gonna' do my part to make her day as magically memorable as possible. :)
Thanks again! :)

My one piece of advice would be "Don't stretch to reach anything the day before the wedding." long story...

:jawdrop: I thought they didn't kill off characters in comedies!

EDIT: Well, except for George's fiance on Seinfeld
Well...

My mother shared this with me by email today. This is odd, because I don't get emails from her very often. Not sure how she came upon the video, but...

Her note read...

"You were born nearly 2 months early, as you know. I couldn't hold you until you were nearly 3 months old, something you now appreciate fully as you are a parent. Your father and I spent every night and day at the incubator, praying for you to pull through. And, you did, little pointy head!

We love you son, and can't wait to see you this Christmas.

Mom"

(I was born with a pointy head because my skull wasn't fully formed, which is why I have a hat on in all my "birth pictures", so that's where the nickname came from.)

The feels! Dang it Mom!

But, here is the background of the video...

"Photographer Benjamin Scot Miller captures the first year of his son's life after he was born 14 weeks premature. From the early days in the NICU to the days after bringing little Ward home, this heartwarming video will leave you in tears."

First a warning, while this video is safe for work, there are some striking images (not graphic) of a premature baby in the NICU.

Anyhow, this is why I shouldn't cut onions while near the computer. <sniffle>

It was too touching not to share.

what counts is, you're alive! they didn't give up!
so you can repay by not giving up! :D
Meanwhile in Cowland, there is still a lot of snow on the ground. Further updates will come in as needed.

shoveling intensifies again? ;)

I stopped watching as well and it isn't really going to draw me back into watching. I doubt he will be gone permanently anyway.

they should bring the cloning pets gag; where they clone brian, looks exactly like him, but is completely different. (with some political commentary about cloning)

he may be like kenny where he dies differently each week
Didn't they "permanently" kill off Kenny for like a whole season too, before bringing him back?

Plus, South Park got tired of killing him. Now they are only killing him once or twice a season. Since they are in the middle of a several episode Game of Thrones parody, I'm guessing there will be an "Oh my God, they killed Kenny!" pretty soon.
