Edit, I need to stop replying when I'm like five pages behind, lol

Carry on nothing to see here
Previously on "Where in the World is Bob Saget"

- Sageteers talk about a college football game.
- Nemo likes to look at penguins and went to a concert
- We are going to have a Christmas special. I'm Scrooge. Nemo is Lucy. Zweiland is Meg. Someone is Charlie Brown, I forget who. Gary Busey will guest star so if you are participating you might want to get your immunizations.
- Buy our new line of ornaments today!
- And some other things I can't remember. I'm doing this recap by memory, its 1:30am, and I had a few so there is something I had to have missed.

And now we return to page 709 of "Where in the World is Bob Saget."

And @PUSH is playing a festive trashcan.

There are still a handful of Sageteers unaccounted for in this special, and there are plenty of roles yet to fill. Speak up as to who you want to be! Remember this is a holiday special...and keeping in tradition of most holiday specials, we can pretty much throw anybody into the story at any time without any reason or purpose. That's how all the other specials do it.

We still need a host (and the job pays pretty well), so speak up if you're interested. We also need someone who is good in the culinary dept. to lead the segment on Cooking With Rhubarb For The Holidays.

George Lucas has already agreed to let us use the Life Day song by Princess Leia somewhere in our special. I'm thinking about randomly throwing it in between Santa's murder scene and the first blaming.

Since we have a Scrooge in this special, why not add a Grinch? Why settle for just one antagonist when we can have two? Better yet...let's have a scene where Scrooge & the Grinch battle one another using...are you ready for this....lightsabers! That's right. An epic 10-15 minute lightsaber battle between Ebenezer Scrooge & the Grinch accompanied by the musical score of 'Duel Of The Fates'. Even better yet...have Gary Busey gargling the tune in the background as the two battle it out.

#BEST CHRISTMAS SPECIAL EVER!!!
We can show the viewers my favorite holiday treat that I posted over in the Holiday Treats thread that @Nemo14 started.

And also, just fyi, hashtags can't have spaces, so it should be #BEST_CHRISTMAS_SPECIAL_EVER or #BESTCHRISTMASSPECIALEVER or #BestChristmasSpecialEver or #bestchristmasspecialever or something along those lines. Unless you were just meaning #Best, then disregard that last sentence. But I think we have to reserve the use of #Best solely for speaking of Sharknado. Speaking of which, why not include a holiday version of a Sharknado? The sharks can be wearing Santa hats!

Thanks, & fixed.

I love it! Santasharknado!
That could be what we're trying to save Christmas from. Rule #1 of any holiday special...you have to save Christmas from something. Of course it may be hard to get the rights for such a cinematic masterpiece. The studio behind such glory may be reluctant to allow footage of their perfection into a mere TV special.

If you can't afford writers for a script there's always this option: Santasharknado Sagateer Holiday On Ice.

Does he do the full version of Alice's Restaurant? Some classic rock stations play it every Thanksgiving. It's one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

I have seen him do that, but this tour was a salute to his father, so it was basically Woody Guthrie songs with a few Arlo's (I Don't Want a Pickle). He had interrupted the tour when his wife passed last year, so this was kind of the final days of that. He's quite a gifted musician with a real appreciation for the origins of folk music. It was amusing seeing the age of most of the audience members.

Pictures were allowed as long as no flash, so I did catch this one:

Here's a little turkey before tree tidbit. I saw a preview of the new Cartoon Network balloons for the Macy's parade. They are Adventure Time and How to Train Your Dragon.

I saw them twice in concert. Once in the late 60's (Mary was pregnant at the time) and once more in the 90's. Except for their obvious aging they sounded exactly the same both times. You might as well have been listening to a recording, it was a flawless performance. Peter did manage to get pretty "preachy" by the 90's though. :in pain: In fact at one point someone from the audience yelled out. "Peter, quit talking and start singing." He did!:)

I saw Peter, Paul, and Mary many times. Always a treat. When my daughter was about 5 we took her to see them for her very first concert. We stood by the fence that separated their entryway from the audience members', and Peter Yarrow came over and reached through the fence and embraced her face and told her what a beautiful child she was. Last month, Peter was appearing at a local place near here, so we took her and her husband to see him again. It was a very informal setting, and he took the time to talk to the guests and sign books or whatever. We told him the story of the fence, and he took her hand and kissed it. I choked up again just liked I did all those years ago.
