He had a funny story about Pete Seeger, who he used to do a lot of touring with. Pete had told him that basically he was getting too old to tour anymore, that his fingers weren't as nimble and his voice wasn't as good as it used to be. Arlo told him "Pete, look at our audience. Their hearing isn't as good as it used to be!"

we have a couple of pair that we wore to a friend's wedding reception. It was a Halloween wedding, so it was the best we could do for a costume and still be allowed in to the place.
