Oh, that explains it. I only thought there were red ones, which are really tame; because that's all I've ever seen in New England.

I guess on the East Coast they were released in hords by some division of the Forestry. They kill and eat bad bugs, unfortunately some of the breeds being nastier than others.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I would love to invade Ottawa. To live. Along with a million other places. No Australian though. Too many animals that can kill or poison you. But koala and wallaby's are so cute. Actually, I take that back, Australians are hot. Plus sexy accents.
A visit to Australia is on my bucket list.
Not likely to happen with Hubby though. At 6' 8", first class is the only way he can survive any flight in excess of 4 hours. And unless the money fairy pays us a visit some time soon, Australia isn't in the cards.

Ottawa is great. We go for a week every couple of years.
Dinner at Darcy McGee's on Spark Street, followed by beaver tails in the Byward Market. It doesn't get any better than that.
Their Haunted Walk is pretty cool too.

Pretty sure I won't like that.

Pretty sure I wouldn't like this either.
Been there too. Well, not me ... but Hubby and Son #1.
Son #2 and I just got ice cream instead.

The Haunted Walks are not scary. Just a couple of historical "ghost stories" as you walk through the downtown area.
One year we did the Original Tour. On our next trip, we did the Ghosts and Gallows Tour.

Speaking of tattoos, I don't have any. However, a few times over the years, I have put on the ones that you can just wash off, the same day. Usually it will be a pretty, small flower, or even Tinkerbell. One time, I had a Bugs Bunny one!

Every year we would do a trip to Six Flags Great America with all the neighborhood kids for 2 days (and their parents.) Kids would all get a temporary tattoo and they would last about a week and my kids were in a chlorine pool for about 3 hours or so every day.

I can do that. Reminds of the one I went in Newport and since my college was haunted...

supposedly the town is built of top of graves from the American Revolution plus you have the big mansions....which almost all burnt down
