An oxymoron if there ever was one...
Food from BOP (Be Our Patient).....!!!!! :joyfull: :D;) :)

The dessert actually looks pretty good. Working in a hospital for many years now, and observing patients coming in and later discharged, it's no wonder the patients don't feel better until they "get sprung" (in your words) out of there. Between those ugly Johnny hospital gowns, and the cafeteria-style food on the trays, it's amazing that many of them don't try to "break out" of there sooner!

P.S.: As a reminder, remember those hospital gowns are open in the back . . . I recall a patient who stepped outside the hospital for a cigarette during a busy part of the day, and he failed to take into account that it was a windy day . . . :p Needless to say, one of the docs ran out there with a robe for the poor, unsuspecting "flasher" . . . . :jawdrop: :D

Alrighty, finally back and settled in. :)
Was pretty much cleared last evening, but, with all the protocol, just got home about a half hour ago. I'm not one that hates hospitals but, I don't wanna' stay any longer than required. And, I actually was the one that did opt to be admitted for the MRI so as to make sure all the way around. Didn't make sense to me not to. Peace of mind.
Only real inconvenience was that I had to combine my Half-day Friday and Saturday TSSFFBRs. :bored:

:joyfull: :D ;) :)

I'm going to give you a like, 'cause that's what I do ... but seriously Pal - what the heck? You've been posting all day like nothing has been going on. I even noticed you posting at odd times for you.

Glad the big stuff has been ruled out; that must be a huge relief.

I trust and pray that everything will be fine.
Try and get some sleep. (Ha ha). But if not, I'll be here for a bit if you want to chat.

Making tea. Want one?

I just didn't want to post anything about what was going on until I knew something for sure. Figured it probably wouldn't have been too cool to get on here and post somethin' like...
"Hey guys. At the hospital ER with head pain, dizziness, and numbness. Will let y'all know what's goin' on ASAP. If I'm able. Have a Magical day!" ;)

Well, somehow I accidentally posted the first part of my reply to your post ( I think they mighta' missed sometin... o_O ;)), so I will now try to follow up with the rest...

The posting at odd-ish times was just me bein' anxious and tryin' to distract myself.
As far as the tea goes, I would have definitely taken ya' up on that, 'cause they darn sure weren't gonna' let me have any beer. ;) Thanks for offering. :)

Seriously and sincerely, though, Thank you so very much for the well wishes and prayers. It was a bit unsettling there for a while, to say the least.

Sorry to hear that you have not been well. I hope that everything works out for you. I see you are back home...did they give you any prognosis?

The worst thing about hospitals is the food. But somehow your picture of the hospital food doesn't look half bad.

Personal question - not asking for specifics ....

In Canada, all of your procedures/hospital stay would have cost nothing - outside of our outrageous taxes, that is. (As I shared before, ambulance costs $60 - unless you croak; in which case, it's free)

Do you have to foot the bill? Co-pay?
Just wondering.

Best answer I seemed to be able to get, prognosis-wise, was "Probably stress".
Which, to be honest, I have been under quite a bit more than usual lately at my job. We're just so swamped.
I was given copies of all the final test results: No Blockages or buildups, no masses/tumors., no bulges/aneurism, no malformations, bleeding or other anomalies.
I'll take "stress". Now I just have to implement productive ways to deal with it, as it's always a part of life to some degree or another, anyway.

And yes, although by now most here know I'm no connoisseur, I was actually kinda' impressed with both breakfast and lunch (sorry no pic of breakfast - my mind just didn't initially go there 'til lunch when I though of us foodies on here). It was a very tasty bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast taco with oatmeal and a fruit bowl.

Anyway, thanks again for the well wishes. :)
