@Cesar R M , your photographs are outstanding. The scenery is breathtaking, and the pictures of the animals are great. I especially love the eagle pictures. I saw an eagle up close one time, and they are magnificent raptors, with striking good looks. Anyway, we're happy you enjoyed your wonderful trip to Alaska, and we missed you. Can't wait to hear and see more about the trip, once you get a chance after you're returned home and settled back in.
definitively.
I still need to arrange and process the images..I took like 600 to 1000 photos. Plus some videos!

plus I Think I got a cold, which I am no surprised. So many guests were sneezing and snorting when boarding the ship. It didn't help that some of them were very dirty (aka, didn't wash their hands after visiting the restroom)

Back when my kids were younger we left my DH and DS in the ESPN bar for the possible final game, which it was for the Bulls Championship game (where people kept trying to steal their stools when one or the other went to use the facilities) and my DD and I went to the MK. I'm not sitting in a room for hours watching TV while at Disney.

Now if the Cubs so happened to make it to the series it would be a flip of the coin or I might come back for the last innings if they were winning or it was close.
The other reason was that there would be no asking my brother to come back to the room in WDW to watch a football game. He doesn't watch them at home nor does he even understand the game (getting him to understand baseball is a stretch, and he goes to those games). There would be no way he would want to spend his last night at the room in WDW. My mom has said that she would have taken him to MK had I not been willing.

The first time the Ravens won the Superbowl (in the pre-brother era) we were in WDW. We had friends with us and ended up going to the lounge at BW to watch the game. We were also there for a loss in the playoffs against New England. It was a day game on a Sunday, and they were showing it down at the pool at the bar. My dad watched it. Everyone else went swimming.

I think you'll feel better once you get home. :) You're probably also exhausted from all the fun activities you had. Vacation travel can be a blast, but it can also tire you out.

I remember my DH wanting to watch the World Series game when my son was 2. We went back to the room which was fine, it was night and he was small and the feed went out for the game. DH in total disbelief. DS and I went downstairs to lobby area to get some snacks and get some to go from the bar and the game was off in the bar but the early feeds to the massive earthquake in the San Fran/Oakland area was up on the screen. So we left the parks early for a game and watched earthquake aftermath, it was so depressing to watch that. Sad.

If anyone cares, Maze Runner was good. I predict it will do good, not great in the box office. I've been wrong before (namely Robocop) with box office predictions, but it has a good cast and the script was well written. The cast, by the way, I recognized mostly from the British drama series called Skins that aired on E4 in the UK a few years ago (now on Netflix and Hulu and I highly recommend watching it), so there's chemistry between the actors and actresses because they've produced entire seasons of a television series together previously.

DWifey and myself were in SJ/SF two months prior to the Loma Prieta quake.
My mothers cousin still lived in Watsonville, Ca. at the time. Major damage.
One of my most memorable childhood earthquake memories is from Watsonville.
We were all gathered on Thanksgiving day at that same moms cousins house in the early 70's. We had just finished saying grace when things started to shake. We all quickly got up and went out the back door to the driveway. It had pretty much stopped by the time all of us got out there, but, I distinctly remember the house still swaying back and forth a bit and creaking before finally slowing to a stop. We all just went back in and finished the meal, and then settled in to watch football. I think there were a couple of small aftershocks after that, but, nothin' that cleared the house again.
