Did you lend your car to my son too? That's where I left my car. I've been looking for that thing for years now. Thanks! I'll pick it up tomorrow!

Peter - STAY IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY.I'm thinking... I'm thinking... JAPAN (the way I do it)
Japan... Trains, hostels, sushi, and TDL!
I bet I can do Japan on the cheap just like I just did California!
What's the cheapest you think I could fly into Japan for (round trip)?
It doesn't have to be Tokyo. As long as the airport has transit that connects me to the rest of the country!
Yup, not one of my favorite either. Cinderella is my second least-favorite princess, second only to Snow White. Snow White is the only princess I actively dislike. I'm not wild about the movie either, though I appreciate it as it is a classicI got 11 right...and I haven't seen the movie in over 20 years
I think you would get along well with Sheldon...I'm thinking... I'm thinking... JAPAN (the way I do it)

If you are going to do something in Asia, Hong Kong would be your best bet. Mostly because English is an official language there.I LOVE challenges!!!!! I could do it and have fun in the process... AND it will be smoother than my CA trip because of lessons I learned.
I've traveled to Israel 3 times, where they only speak English in Jerusalem. In Tel Aviv and the rest of the country, they spoke very broken English... Barely. I imagine Japan isn't that much different.
EDIT - Maybe I should do Europe before Japan?
Hong Kong, actually, is one of the cities I want to explore one day. It has the largest network of "skyway" moving sidewalks and pedestrian bridges that connect the skyscrapers so that you rarely have to go outside on the street level to explore. If you are going to do something in Asia, Hong Kong would be your best bet. As I was just telling @StarWarsGirl95 , I want to explore Canada's underground cities. Is it Toronto that has the biggest underground network?Peter - STAY IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY.
You have enough issues without adding in a language barrier.
Or come to Canada. I'll take care of you.
It's hysterical. Not too late to start. It's on...every night. Pretty muchThat's funny! Too bad I never got into that series. Maybe I should start?
Is it on Netflix or Hulu? And pick a season that will get me hooked when I start. I don't mind backtracking later. I normally get hooked when I start with season finales for some odd reason. It's hysterical. Not too late to start. It's on...every night. Pretty much

some updates. sorry for the lack of updates, been super busy.
Another thing that went wrong with my trip that I've been quiet about up until now and that I'm not happy about...
When I got off the light rail in long beach on my way to the airport to go to San Francisco, I was using my iPad Mini to navigate through Google Maps and it slipped from my hands and landed glass-down on the concrete sidewalk, shattering the upper right corner and other glass breaks on the screen. I just bought it like a couple of months ago and did not buy an extended warranty. I doubt the basic warranty covers it. I'll take it over to Apple as soon as I get brave enough to face the music.
Also, before I left, my $1,500 audio receiver stopped outputting sound. I changed the fuse and it still does not output sound. I really hope it's not going to cost as much as my trip to get these things fixed.
Welcome to my world!
