Happily. I was at Target this afternoon and there were stacks of candy corn. I thought it was just mostly used for arts and craft Halloween projects.

Sounds like somethin' Belle would do. We've found out that she's quite the sock aficionado...!

My Shepard was the only pup that picked certain things to swipe. She stole DH bloomers and socks and my shoes. And she would always steal one shoe of each pair and hide them (bury) them somewhere in the house. I'd be like a little chicken hunting down a pair of matching shoes or work boots in the morning. And then there be those days I'd be relaxing on the couch and find socks and bloomers stuffed between the cushions. Odd gal that Shepard was.

One day when she was young I came back in to find she drank my Baily's Irish Cream. She was funny drunk.

California is one thing...A different country and a different language is a totally different ballgame....I wouldn't advise it.

I don't think our US Embassy would advise it either.

I LOVE challenges!!!!! I could do it and have fun in the process... AND it will be smoother than my CA trip because of lessons I learned.

I've traveled to Israel 3 times, where they only speak English in Jerusalem. In Tel Aviv and the rest of the country, they spoke very broken English... Barely. I imagine Japan isn't that much different.

EDIT - Maybe I should do Europe before Japan?

I just did a quick search and found airfare for one week one person from ATL to Tokyo for 1235.00 round trip with a two month lead time. With a transfer at LAX.

I got 4 out of 31. Okay, Cinderella is sooo not my favorite princess. But I did score 26 out of 31 on Mulan and aced the Incredibles quiz.

I actually got 9, but, I was so sure I would do better than that.
I'm thinkin' I would do A LOT better on the Incredibles quiz than the Mulan one.

@unkadug I just checked my Jet Blue account and I have almost 2,000 frequent flier points already! At 5,000 points, they have free 1-way tickets.

They have flights to Vegas for just $150 (per way) from Ft. Lauderdale now...

That looks like the haul we had from MNSSHP one year. Between three people over two nights we filled a backpack and then some. It was so much fun and we had candy until Easter.

Amateurs.
My brothers and I used to collect multiple pillow cases full of Hallowe'en candy when we were kids, and had it polished off by Remembrance Day. (That might be Veteran's Day, to you.)
