fix your economy first! let's not jump into pleasure trips yet!
the issue is.. they knew it could escalate to these levels.. yet they did nothing until now.
I mean.. the created the whole issue in the first place! :|
Sigh.
I really need to stop torturing myself.
Someday.
Most arcades have "no food or drink" policies. I don't really think it was an age thing, one accidental misstep and you could trip and knock the lid off. Other CMs might not have seen you bring it in before, or they just didn't care. Apparently this one did. I know the arcade at POR has a sign on the door saying "No Food or Drink".
The other option is to finish your beverage (or tip it out) before entering the arcade.Given the date rape drugs being slipped into womens beverages do you really believe it is Sound Disney Policy to ask that beverages be left at the counter out of the sight of the guests? To me that is quite the liability Disney is taking on to safeguard beverages.
I thought about this after @StarWarsGirl95 posted and I'd be annoyed too. Disney removed the lockers from around the pool, what are you to do with their refill mugs? What will Disney do with refill mugs that are coming to the parks? Leave them with the CM as you get on the ride? To me if Disney is going to push the guests into purchasing refill mugs by inflating the prices of other beverage options then they best not mess with guests that purchased them and are using them around their resorts.
That would be Zeducchini in Canada, eh!Mmmmmm...
Zucchini...!
Except she wasn't on a date with the guy and she was with someone else. Don't think that would be a concern at all. (right in the middle of a Disney resort) Not likely.Given the date rape drugs being slipped into womens beverages do you really believe it is Sound Disney Policy to ask that beverages be left at the counter out of the sight of the guests? All the prayers and karma the world can spare to ya'!!!!! SOOOOO very much hope this happens for you!!!!!!! (pretty sure I'm usin' that smilie too much, but, this definitely called for it! )
As is often said, money can't buy ya' happiness, but, ya' know what it can give ya'...? Options. And, options can, very often, lead to some serious happiness...!!!!!
I fear Son #2 and the girlfriend of 15 months may be breaking up.
Not sure what's going on, but he doesn't want to talk about it.
When I try to talk to him about it, he blows right up at me.
And then, two minutes later, he'll make a reference to being all stressed out by her and her neediness.

And I say, "That'll change next year" because, as long as my clearances/drug test/etc. come back acceptable (as they should)... I got the job I interviewed for this morning.
She called me at lunch time and said "I couldn't wait till Monday to tell you". I'm trying hard to contain my excitement, but WHOOOO BOY am I losing that battle
WDW is home for me since I grew up going to WDW. But I love DL and requested to go there for graduation.Oh honey. I consider Disneyland (and sometimes, you'll hear me say "my Disneyland") my home. I grew up going to that park, but it's been far too long since I've been...home.
That'll change next year.
He told her she was a Stage Five Clinger?Reminds me of an old bud of mine from way back when. He told his gf that she needed to be less clingy and more independent. She did just that.
She dropped 'im like a bad habit, and they never dated again.
He ended up marryin' his former HS sweetheart about a year later.
I'm just not happy that he treated me so rudely and asked that I put the drink down. You don't do that if you are a girl. He could have said "Please be careful with your drink" or since I was with my brother, asked that one of us hold it at all times. Either solution would be better than, "Just leave it here." I shudder to think what would happen if he told another young woman that.
I don't think Disney is too concerned with date rape drugs. They're more concerned with damage to their arcades, which is what the policy is trying to prevent. The policy is for no food or drink inside the arcade, and whether someone agrees with it or not, that's the rule. If you don't want to finish or dump it, then you have to abide by Disney's policy. The other option is to leave, which is what was chosen in this case.Given the date rape drugs being slipped into womens beverages do you really believe it is Sound Disney Policy to ask that beverages be left at the counter out of the sight of the guests? Disney has rules that they turn a blind eye to frequently. This reminds me of a CM that just wanted to mess with a guest. Bus Drivers ignore the refill mugs all the time. I boarded a bus every morning with coffee in a paper covered cup.
That was differrent. You handed it to a woman.I took a coffee in a travel mug to my uncle's funeral visitation.
The lady at the door, asked me to leave it with her, and that I would be free to enjoy it in the lounge after I've visited the family.
No big deal. I gave her the cup, went into the visitation room, and then drank it in the lounge 15 minutes later, before returning to the room.
Then I saw my cousin in the room with a Coke.
And guess what, no big deal.
Rules are rules. I got "caught". She did not.
